There are many applications offering protection from screen capture that are affective but only when known screen capture softwares are used. They are NOT protected from ALL screen capture as they rely on being able to detect the application by name, which means that should anyone use an application not on their list or simply rename the application then the protection is foiled. In contrast the CopySafe runtime provides total control over the resources used by ALL screen capture and video capture.
Adobe's Acrobat Reader uses low-strength encryption to protect password and expiration settings but there is free software that removes their security, thus enabling copying and conversion to original various file formats.
